LMA launches Charter to support improvement in market culture

The Lloyds Market Association has launched its Charter which was unanimously approved by the LMA Board in July 2022.

The Charter is aligned with the LMA’s five values – inclusive, trusted, passionate, bold and united. It  outlines the LMA’s expectations of the behaviours of its members and guests.

The Charter aims to establish a common framework to enable all individuals to feel respected, equal, and comfortable in sharing their opinions, while continuing to encourage innovation and exchange of views in pursuit of market improvement. The Charter also sets the rules for the LMA to deal with instances where behaviours do not meet outlined expectation.

The LMA is providing training to the Chairs and secretaries of its committees on using the Charter to enhance the participation and output of those committees.
