FCA sets up ESG advisory committee

FCA is setting up a new advisory committee to its board to help on ESG issues, and is looking for a small number of external experts to join it. It is looking for interested parties who have in depth knowledge of ESG issues in the financial sector who the FCA Board would appoint in a personal capacity. It does not expect people employed by regulated firms to apply, and any successful applicant would have to abide by a conflicts of interest policy.  FCA welcomes CVs by 16 September and expects the first meeting of the committee to be during Q4 2022, and normally quarterly thereafter.
