Employee fairly dismissed for failing to disclose that he had been made bankrupt

We have commented on the recent Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) decision in Pubbi v Your-Move.co.uk [2022] EAT 96 in which an employee was dismissed for failing to disclose that he had been made redundant, following up on our headline post. The Tribunal found that Your-Move was entitled to view this conduct as warranting dismissal and that the overall disciplinary and appeal process was fair. The EAT concluded the Tribunal did not err in finding this.
