Lucy HadrillBoE and FCA are working to transform data collection from the UK financial sector through the joint transformation programme that has been set up with industry. The regulators have provided an update on the programme’s progress.
The phase one ‘discovery and design’ stage of the programme ended at the end of March 2022 and the programme team are now in the process of finalising the recommendations from this stage. BoE and FCA expect to publish the recommendations and their responses in July 2022.
The start of phase two of the programme is being pushed back from June to September 2022. The programme team is looking for c. 20 FTE from firms to be part of the core delivery team from September 2022 until end May 2023. The nominations for the phase two process opens on 27 April 2022.
