EBA confirms Covid-19 related reporting and disclosure requirements will continue

In response to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the EBA has confirmed that the Guidelines on the reporting and disclosure of exposures subject to measures applied in response to Covid-19, which were first adopted on 2 June 2020, will continue to apply until further notice. In light of the differing effects of the pandemic across jurisdictions and over time, the EBA reminds competent authorities of the flexibility in the Guidelines to reduce or cease some specific reporting and disclosure requirements.

The EBA will continue to monitor developments and will reassess the application of the Guidelines in the future when the Covid-19 situation permits.
