Emma BondThe PSR has extended Specific Direction 8, which requires LINK to do all it can to fulfil its commitment to maintain the broad geographic spread of free-to-use ATMs.
Specific Direction 8, as varied by Specific Direction 8a, was due to end on 2 January 2022. However, the PSR has now extended it so that it will remain in force until the end of March 2022 (unless varied or revoked before then) whilst the PSR continues to consider whether to issue a new Specific Direction in light of its related consultation in October 2021.
