Emma RadmoreLSB has published a summary report on the Access to Banking Standard. The report makes it clear that LSB has no role in approving or commenting on a bank’s decision to close a branch, but merely to see how the Standard is applied once the decision is taken.
LSB looked at 10 closure programmes across 9 firms, and found good practice all round with only minor areas for improvement noted.
