Emma RadmorePRA has updated on authorisations under the TPR. It has reminded that it has up to the end of 2023 to process applications from firms falling under it. Currently, it is seeing a high volume of applications of varying complexity, and notes that some firms may not even make their applications until the end of 2022. It plans to consider applications on a case-by-case basis depending on its own resourcing and governance processes. It warns the outcome is that some applications may take longer than others to process, but says firms should not take this as an indication of PRA’s views of their riskiness.
