LSB launches Access to Banking Standard Review

LSB has published a consultation paper on the review of the Access to Banking Standard. The Review is aimed at determining whether the Standard is still an effective way to achieve fair outcomes for customers (consumers and SMEs) who are impacted by branch closures or a reduction in access to key banking services.  12 firms are currently signed up to the Standard, which first came into effect on 1 May 2017.  Among LSB’s questions are whether developments in business and regulation since then affect its operation.

LSB seeks responses by 4 August.
