No timescale on BNPL

In answer to a question in Parliament, the Government confirmed its intention is still to bring forward secondary legislation to bring forward currently unregulated BNPL products “when Parliamentary time allows”. It noted the powers in the FS Act to allow it to take a proportionate approach to implementation, and said the final approach would be determined following public consultation.
