FCA to issue credit broking permissions survey

FCA is asking regulated firms that hold the credit broking permission to complete a short survey to update the information FCA holds on how they are using this permission. A pilot survey will be sent to 300 firms on 20 May 2021, with the survey to remaining firms to follow in July. FCA will use the data provided, alongside existing data, to support its ongoing work to mitigate risks of harm to consumers.

Firms will have 15 working days to submit their responses. Where firms do not complete the survey, FCA may contact them to understand the reasons for this.

FCA has also published FAQs on the survey which are available here.
