Emma RadmorePRA has updated firms on its approach to the Remuneration Benchmarking and High Earner’s Reporting Templates, part of the EBA Taxonomy. This information became reportable in XBRL format from the end of 2020, with new templates applying from then. However, there was a problem with the new templates, for which EBA has now released a patch.
The UK regulators have decided that implementing the proposed patch into the GABRIEL/RegData systems would have such an effect on firms that it has decided firms should just use the old templates. It will tell firms when it has made the necessary changes and has given firms with a 31 December year end until 1 June to submit REP004 and REP005.
