EIOPA publishes IDD FAQs

EIOPA has updated its FAQs on the IDD.  The 8 new questions cover:

• the appropriateness assessment
• product oversight and governance;
• adaptation of existing product;
• protect testing and review for existing products;
• manufacturer’s responsibility for adequate product oversight and governance;
• organisational requirements;
• application of IDD when providing advice on existing contracts; and
• application of IDD to captives
