Commission asks ESAs for digital finance advice

The European Commission has asked the ESAs for advice on how it is to adapt the prudential and conduct regulatory and supervisory frameworks to take account of digital finance initiatives. The advice should cover:

• regulation and supervision of the more fragmented or non-integrated value chains
• platforms and bundling of various financial services
• risks of groups combining different activities and
• specific advice from EBA on non-bank lending
