FIN. TeamWith the end of the Brexit transition period in sight, the FCA has issued a press release reminding firms to be prepared.
The FCA expects firms to have assessed the impact of the changes that will take effect, on both them and their customers and have taken action to ensure that they are ready for the end of the transition period.
The FCA will also be making changes to the Financial Services Register in order to take account of the end of passporting for firms and funds and the start of the temporary permissions regime. As a result, the register will be unavailable from late evening 31 December to early morning 4 January.
