FCA updates on EEA regulator Brexit guidance

FCA has put together an information page sharing links to the websites of EEA regulators on which they have published guidance about the effects of Brexit on UK firms operating in their jurisdictions.  Some of the pages are more informative than others, but it is clear that no other major regulator has implemented anything approaching the TPR.  Many regulators merely state that UK firms wanting to do business there will need to be locally authorised from the end of the transition period, and the UK will be treated differently to any other third country only where a decision has been taken at EU level. Some discuss more complex operational issues such as the extent to which outsourcing functions and seconding staff will be permitted.
