Emma RadmoreFCA has confirmed the granting of “leapfrog” certificates to it, six of the insurers involved and the Hiscox Action Group for an appeal to the Supreme Court, and may now apply for permission to appeal.
At Friday’s hearing, various orders were also made. FCA will review the final declarations made as to the effect of the judgement and then decide on its next steps, which will include pressing on with the application to appeal while trying to find a solution that avoids the need for an appeal.
