Complaints Commissioner calls for action on disability issues

The Complaints Commissioner has published its response to a mental health worker who had complained to FCA that it did not have in place appropriate policies to comply with its “anticipatory duty” under equality legislation to make reasonable adjustments to consumers with mental health disabilities.

The Commissioner agreed with the concerns and has invited FCA to provide further information about its policies and its responses to the specific questions raised.
