FMLC responds on AML action plan

FMLC has responded to the Commission’s consultation on its AML action plan.  The response focuses on:

• the scope of EU AML legislation on virtual currencies, and how it might be helpful to broaden the definition; and
• the potential for using LEIs as part of disclosure requirements for firms offering cryptoasset exchange services and custodian wallet services.
