European Commission publishes Brexit Readiness Checklist for companies

The European Commission (“the Commission“) has published a ‘Brexit Readiness Checklist’ which aims to help EU companies doing business in the UK and/or UK companies doing business in the EU to check their state of readiness for 1 January 2021. 

The checklist provides an overview of the main areas of change that will take place as of 1 January 2021, irrespective of the outcome of the ongoing EU-UK negotiations. 

The Commission is also reviewing the sector-specific stakeholder preparedness notices it published during the Article 50 negotiations with the UK. You can access the notices that have already been updated here.
