MPs want Brexit information

The EU Services Sub-Committee has written to John Glen asking for more detail on:

• UK/EU equivalence – it wants to now when the Government will be publishing its decisions. The Government had said it has finished its assessments but the Committee wants to know whether it has decided not to publish them until the EU publishes its decisions – and how this will interact with equivalence decisions on other third countries;
• UK/EU co-operation – and how what Michel Barnier has spoken of differs from what the UK wants; and
• the future plans for the UK financial services framework – in particular the role of Parliament.
