FCA reformats Brexit advice

FCA has revamped its information page on Brexit. The page gives advice to firms on what they should be considering in preparation for the end of the transition period.

Much of the information is not news, and includes a checklist for firms to answer to help assess the extent to which they will be affected at the end of the transition period. It then gives further guidance on:

  • how firms should be considering how they will service their EEA customers;
  • how firms’ outsourcing and third-party relationships will be affected at the end of the transition period – including the operational risk to firms and potential harm to customers that may result from any change to outsourced services; and
  • engaging with non-UK regulators.

The page links to sector specific pages with further guidance.
