Treasury Committee concerned about FCA complaints handling

The Treasury Committee has written to the Complaints Commissioner and FCA following a report by the Complaints Commissioner highlighting several observations about a particular case, and FCA’s more general handling of complaints. Although the Commissioner says FCA is making “genuine attempts” to address the problems within its mechanism, the Treasury Committee is concerned that the requirements are not currently met in some of the cases that go before the Commissioner.
