FCA confirms PSD2 SCA RTS standards to apply in event of no-deal Brexit

The FCA has published a policy statement setting out UK regulatory technical standards and Handbook changes that would apply to customer authentication if the UK were to leave the EU on ‘no deal’ terms.

The FCA also confirmed that in such an eventuality, the 6 month ‘adjustment period’ for the PSD2 SCA RTS would continue to apply to the UK RTS.
