Queen’s Speech suggests post-Brexit FS Bill

Among the list of legislative proposals referred to in the Queen’s Speech is laws that will provide “certainty, stability and new opportunities” for the financial services sector through a Financial Services Bill.  The notes accompanying the speech referred to the desire to keep the UK’s world-leading regulatory standards and keep the UK open to international markets after Brexit.
