Payment Systems Regulator working on widening data access

In the PSR’s response to its Data in the Payments Industry discussion paper, the regulator heralds work with Pay.UK on opening up access to data in the UK’s new payments architecture.

The aims of such a movement will include facilitating the development of  new products and services, and improved payment reconciliation services.  The regulator also calls on the industry to manage issues arising from such data, such as individuals’ privacy rights.
