Transparency International Annual Plan

TI has published its annual plan for 2019-20. Key points include:

  • the growth of TI to over 50 staff in the past 10 years should now lead to a period of stabilisation;
  • the key successes of last year included the publication of the Corporate Political Engagement Index and the conclusions of the Bribery Act review that the Act should not be watered down;
  • its work on defence and security, and on its health initiative;
  • the amendments to what is now SAMLA in respect of beneficial ownership registers in British Overseas Territories; and
  • the popularity of its anti-bribery guidance portal
