FCA publishes feedback statement on fair pricing

In the context of ongoing work by both the FCA and CMA on fair pricing and loyalty penalties, the FCA has published a feedback statement setting out a framework for how it will evaluate the fairness of a given pricing practice.

The feedback statement explains how the FCA will apply this framework, for example noting that the six questions set out in the framework do not need to be answered in the negative for the FCA to come to a view that a given pricing practice may be unfair.  It also describes the next stage of their work, which will focus on retail markets.
