Emma RadmoreChristopher Woolard has spoken on FCA’s continuing work to promote innovation. As part of its drive, it has published an evaluation of its Innovate services, which have now supported nearly 700 firms. FCA announced that around 80% of the 47 firms that have completed sandbox testing are now operating in the market, with 63 more in the pipeline. The regulatory sandbox also continues, with a fifth cohort of firms just announced, and demand continuing to be huge, as well as the first cohort of firms in a new Green Fintech Challenge. Finally, FCA is continuing with its efforts in the Global Financial Innovation Network cross-border testing.
