Insurance firms to be required to provide Civil Liability Act reforms costs information

HM Treasury is consulting on draft regulations to require certain firms that sell third party personal injury insurance policies to provide certain information to the FCA.  The information will be used by the Government to assess whether savings from the Civil Liability Act 2018 have been passed on to customers.

The draft regulations set out the proposed approach for this one-off information gathering exercise, including the temporal scope.

The consultation closes on 3 May 2019.
