FCA publishes PPI complaints deadline progress report

On 24 October, the FCA published a report on the progress of its consumer communications campaign and supervisory work regarding the 29 August 2019 deadline for PPI complaints.

The report looks at:

  1. The PPI campaign so far and how consumers are responding to it;
  2. The FCA’s supervisory work to ensure firms are helpful and accessible to consumers who have decided to act, and are dealing fairly and consistently with them; and
  3. The actions consumers have taken since the start of the campaign and the outcomes they are getting.

A final report of the campaign will be published by the FCA in early 2020.
