FCA publishes information for registering as a trade repository

As part of its Brexit preparations, the FCA has updated its webpage for incoming trade repositories that wish to ensure they can continue to do business in the UK following Brexit.

Firms are now able to complete draft application forms for registration as a trade repository.  The FCA has also published guidance notes for this form, and a conversion form for firms that are currently registered with ESMA.

These forms can be submitted to the FCA from 1 January 2019.
