EBA calls for evidence from investment firms

EBA has started a supplementary data collection exercise aimed at supporting a response to the European Commission’s call for evidence to help it shape the new prudential framework for investment firms. EBA launched its initial exercise in late 2016 and has made several improvements to its initial proposals. But now it needs more evidence, and has published templates to show what it needs. It wants investment firms to complete them and submit them to their regulators by 3 August.
