FCA has published its finalised guidance on guarantor loans: default notices. It has made minor changes only from the consultation version of the guidance, which is relevant to guarantor lending firms seeking to take payment from a guarantor in respect of a borrower who is in default. The guidance looks at how FCA considers firms are required to notify guarantors of their intention to take payment before they do so.
