FCA extends BCOBS guidance date

FCA has updated its industry guidance confirmation webpage The amendment relates to the BBA updated version of its industry guidance on compliance with FCA’s Banking Conduct of Business Sourcebook (BCOBS). The webpage states that the expiry date for the FCA’s confirmation of this guidance is now 31 December 2017. BBA has updated parts of the guidance in line with recent BCOBS updates, particularly to reflect the introduction of the summary box requirement for certain financial promotions. The guidance was previously set to expire on 31 December 2016.
